We arrived at Camping Ria Formosa on 15th February to glorious sunshine and a clean hard standing pitch on a brand new campsite. The weather stayed fine and sunny for the 10 days we stayed there. We visited Tavira and Vila Real de San Antonio on the train, we watched the carnival at Vila Real.We were undecided about the site at first but after seeing more of the area on foot and by bike I think we will be back next year. The weather helped of course, shorts everyday and NO MUD! Time is now running out and we intend to go up the Atlantic coast before heading inland to the cold.Only short stops now so might not write again till we are back home on March 20th.
